Thank you for your interest in the Junior League of Greater Orlando. Applications for our upcoming Fall/Winter Provisional Class are open from June 1st through July 31st 2026. Applications for the following Spring/Summer Provisional Class are open August 1st through December 31st.

Application for the Junior League of Greater Orlando Provisional Program

Provisional Education Program

The JLGO Provisional Education Program focuses on developing the civic leadership potential of its members while providing opportunities for volunteerism and meaningful community impact.

Through the program, new members are introduced to the mission, vision, values, and goals of the Junior League of Greater Orlando, as well as our current community focus area, signature programs, fundraisers, and leadership opportunities.

Provisional members will learn about how JLGO serves the Greater Orlando community while building connections with fellow members and developing leadership and service skills.

Provisionals are encouraged to:

  • Volunteer at JLGO community programs and events
  • Attend General Membership Meetings (GMMs)
  • Participate in League fundraisers and initiatives
  • Connect with Active and Sustainer members

These opportunities help members better understand the League’s impact and become integrated into the JLGO community.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the application open for the next JLGO Provisional class?

Applications for our upcoming Fall/Winter Provisional Class are open from June 1st through July 31st 2026.

Applications for the following Spring/Summer Provisional Class are open August 1st through December 31st.

Are there any fees associated with the application?

A nonrefundable application fee of $50 will be required at the time of the application submission.

What are the dues and fees associated with JLGO membership?

If admitted to one of the 2026-2027 Provisional classes, the Provisional JLGO member will submit $170 annual membership dues (pro-rated $85 for Spring/Summer class) as well as a $95 Provisional Course Fee which includes a shirt and food/drinks at the trainings.

When can I become an active member of the JLGO?

Upon completion of the below provisional requirements and financial obligations, you are eligible to become an active member of the JLGO. 

  • Attend the (4) provisional trainings scheduled on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the Winter Park Community Center 
    • Fall/Winter Provisional Education Training Sessions: 8/11, 9/8, 10/13, 11/10
    • Spring/Summer Provisional Education Training Sessions: 1/12, 2/9, 3/9, 4/13
  • Attend at least (1) General Membership Meeting (GMM) scheduled on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the Winter Park Community Center
    • Fall/Winter Provisional Class: August through December
    • Spring/Summer Provisional Class: January through April
  • Attend at least (1) Done in a Day (DIAD)
    • Fall/Winter Provisional Class: August through December (See Calendar)
